History
On 11 April 2007 a public procurement tender was called by the Ministry of Economy and Transport on behalf of The Republic of Hungary for the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of the phase of the M6 Motorway between Szekszárd – Bóly and the phase of the M60 Motorway between Bóly – Pécs within a Public Private Partnership (PPP) Scheme in consideration for an availability payment mechanism during the period of 30 years concession period.
Following the approval of the Hungarian Parliament the public procurement procedure ended on 21 November 2007, when the Minister of Economy and Transport representing The Republic of Hungary entered into a Concession Contract with the representatives of the winning consortium Mecsek Autópálya Consortium. The Concessionaire, the MAK Mecsek Autópálya Koncessziós Zrt. was founded by members of the consortium: Strabag A.G., Bouygues Travaux Publics S.A., Colas S.A., John Laing Infrastructure Limited, and Intertoll Europe Zrt.

- M6 expressway section between Szekszárd-Bóly (km 144+200-192+200);
- M60 expressway section between Bóly-Pécs-South interchange (km 0+000-30+200).
