M60 Motorway

M60 expressway between Bóly-Pécs South interchange (0+000-30+200 km)

Major design parameters:

• a phase of 30.2 km
• the expressway is built with dual carriageway 2x2 traffic lanes (2 x 2 x 3.75m) with paved emergency lanes
• 2 rest areas (in the regions Szajk – single and Belvárdgyula – complex)
• 1 Operational and Maintenance Centre at Pécsudvard
• 4 interchanges as follows:

M6-M60 forking interchange:

Considering the long term improvable construction as well as the closeness of the M60 motorway and the interchange with road No. 57 (Mohács) only collection-distribution lanes are constructed.

Bóly interchange:

This is the interchange of the M60 Motorway and Bóly by-pass road.

Pécs-East interchange:

The Pécs-East interchange of the M60 expressway is constructed on road No. 5721 (by-passing Kozármisleny from the West) that connects to road No. 57 at Pécs interchange with road No. 5618, and to road No. 5716 to the south at Pécsudvard.

As a result the Pécs-East interchange ensures connection to the eastern parts of Pécs and the Industrial Park as well as ensures the accessibility of Komló, Dombóvár and Kaposvár through the M60 expressway and road No. 66. Furthermore it provides access to Pécsudvard, Kozármisleny and Újpet as well as to 12 other settlements.

Pécs-South interchange:

The interchange ensures express road connection between the centre of Pécs and the region of Harkány.
